Miter Gates for Dam

The Miter Gates are for a Dam. Each of the two leafs measured 52' W x 106' H. On the face of each leaf was a skin plate that transitioned from ½" to 1" thick across a 55' radius.

This project used a number alloys including carbon and three types of stainless steel. The new gate replaced the pre-existing gate and included new pintle assemblies.
